Language and Internship Japan

Do you want to improve your Japanese language skills and gain work experience in Japan? Then this program is for you.

You’ll spend up to 12 weeks in Japan – with half of your time dedicated to polishing your language skills in an established, formal learning environment and the other half putting those newly improved skills to good use in a professional work placement. 

You’ll meet new people, immerse yourself in Japanese culture and come away with a real boost to your CV and career prospects.  

Our Japanese partner, the Yamasa Institute, is a long established not-for profit organisation that offers high quality language learning programs. Learn Japanese with a highly experienced and fully qualified academic faculty with the lowest student / teacher ratios in Japan, smaller class sizes and unrivalled facilities.

Depending on your existing language skills you’ll study on the Intensive, Private or Accelerated language program in preparation for your placement with a company in the Okazaki area. You’ll live in on campus accommodation and have the support of local staff to guide you through your stay.

If you ’re between 20 and 30, have a university degree, basic conversational ability in Japanese and have two years current work experience, then read on.
